About Us Epping Forest Arts develops and delivers a wide-ranging programme of arts initiatives and often works in partnership with artists, agencies and companies from the District and beyond.
Epping Forest Arts is unique in that it has three practicing artists as part of its team. This in-house artistic expertise, and an impressive track record of community and educational work, has enabled the arts unit to develop and strengthen its extensive and diverse programme.
Our programme includes:
- Events, classes and workshops in all art forms.
- Educational residencies with professional performing arts companies.
- Dance, music, theatre and mixed-media performances.
- The creation of new work for specific geographic localities.
- Support for and involvement in community events.
- An extensive, annual programme of arts projects for young people and children.
- Arts projects for people with special needs.
- Arts projects with older people.
- Arts environmental initiatives.
- Advice for artists and art groups.
- A yearly arts bursary scheme for 11 - 25 year olds.
- A grants for individuals scheme.
- Support of three music schools.
